ROBERT KRIENSKY - Principal
As Principal of PK Management, LLC, Mr. Kriensky is responsible for overall strategic planning for all newly acquired properties for GH Capital, and oversees its management of the investment portfolio. He has served as an executive in the property management field for over thirty years. Prior to joining GH Capital he was the Director of Operations for HAPI and Mayer Management, subsidiaries of Casden Properties, where he was responsible for the operation of 23,000 units in 37 states.
Mr. Kriensky’s experience has included asset and direct management of portfolios with up to 50,000 units. His management experience extends to a wide range of properties including affordable tax credit, government subsidized portfolios, luxury housing, resort operations. Mr. Kriensky has successfully turned around troubled properties and worked with the on-site staff and residents to stabilize community. He has been successful in building relationships with local law enforcement and developing ties to the communities in which we manage. This ensures a high quality level of operation making us an asset in the community rather than blight.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, Mr. Kriensky also is a Certified Property Manager, a designation of the Institute of Real Estate Management, a National Affordable Housing Professional (NAHP) Executive and has received a Fair Housing and Section 504 Compliance Certification (FHC) from the National Association of HUD Managing Agents (NAHMA). He is currently is a licensed real estate broker in the State of California and is a registered HUD broker.
BRENDA JONES - Vice President Southern Division
Ms. Jones attended Western Carolina University, Cullowhee, NC, and graduated in May 1997, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in accounting. 14 years go Ms. Jones started out in this industry as a Property Manager. She worked her way up to the position of Regional Property Manager, Director of Property Management and is now PK Management’s Vice President of the Southern Division. She holds a South Carolina Real Estate License in Property Management, holds a designation as a Certified Professional of Occupancy with NAHMA and is a Housing Certified Professional (HCCP).
From October 1983 to December 1992, Brenda proudly served as a Marine and was stationed all over the world. While serving in the United State Marine Corps Brenda received many awards including: Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Security Guard Ribbon, Navy & Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon, and Pistol and Rifle Expert Qualification Badges.
JENEE McCLAIN-BANKHEAD - Vice President Northern Division
Ms. McClain-Bankhead has over fifteen years of experience in affordable housing operations and compliance. Prior to joining PK Management, she was a Regional Vice President and Officer at Associated Estates Realty Corporation, a publicly held Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). Ms. McClain-Bankhead holds the designations of Certified Financial Manager (CFM), Certified Manager of Maintenance (CMM), Certified Manager of Housing (CHM) and Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) from the National Center for Housing Management (NCHM). She is also a Certified Credit Compliance Professional (C3P) and a Site Compliance Specialist (SCS). A graduate of the University of Michigan, she is a member of the Urban League of Greater Cleveland and the Northern Ohio Apartment Association (NOAA). In 2009, Ms Bankhead was named one of Kaleidoscope Magazine’s 40-40 Club, 40 of Cleveland’s most influential African American professionals under the age of 40.
TOM McGINTY - Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. McGinty has been with PK Management, LLC, since its inception. Specializing in acquisitions, management and development of multifamily real estate, he is primarily responsible for overseeing the entire financial operations of PK Management. Mr. McGinty was previously employed by Associated Estates Realty Corporation (AERC), Cleveland, OH, which is a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). As Operational Controller of AERC, Mr. McGinty was primarily responsible for overseeing the financial accounting for AERC’s entire third party managed Affordable portfolio.
Mr. McGinty received a bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University with a concentration in Accounting.
CHERYL LONDON – Vice President Western Division
Ms. London has been in the affordable housing industry for 18 years. As Director of Marketing for Paradigm Management, she was responsible for the lease-up of 45 LIHTC properties, and Compliance training in Tax Credits (Section 42) for all managerial and supervisory staff. At Casden Properties she started out as a Regional Supervisor in the west coast region, then went on to become, Director of Training, responsible for nationwide training of managers and supervisory staff. She holds a California Real Estate Brokers license, and has accredited certifications in both Tax Credit compliance and Section 8 housing administration. In additional, Ms. London is PK Management’s designated Fair Housing Coordinator. Prior to working in the housing industry, Ms. London worked as a system and financial analyst for Harris Corporation for 8 years. She has served on the board of a National Health organization (ICA), as Vice President, and served for 4 years on the board of the VCJCC. A Graduate Long Island University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and Post Graduate work for a Masters of Public Administration.
KIM TAYLOR - Vice President Human Resources
Ms. Taylor has 23 years of Human Resources and benefit experiences. Prior to joining to PK Management, she worked as a Benefits Administration Manager for Chico’s FAS, Inc. a major retailer; her specialization was in: Workers Compensation, Benefits Administration and Employee Relations. Ms. Taylor has obtained certifications for: Fair Housing, Human Resources, Leadership and Project Management, Workplace Violence, COBRA, FMLA and ADA as well as workers compensation compliance training. Currently, she is working toward her certification for Human Resources Management. She is a member of the SHRM, Society of Human Resources Management.
JOYCE L. WALKER - Director of Community Relations
Ms. Walker is responsible for developing the company’s community relation’s department within the various property communities and administrating the Social Service Coordination Program. Part of that function includes writing and renewing grants, for which Ms. Walker has received more than $3.5 million dollars in support of PK Management’s social service programming. Ms. Walker holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Social Administration and Social Work from Case Western Reserve University. She has over twenty years of experience in the field of Social Work Administration as well as fifteen years of experience in the housing industry related to families and the elderly. She is a member of: the Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), a member of the American Society on Aging (ASA), a 2009 graduate of the American Society on Aging’s New Ventures in Leadership Program and is the immediate past President of the Lambda Phi Omega graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
